Sivaji

Well, the most awaited movie of the year finally hit the box office and I made it to the theaters the very first day in PVR. This was a huge surprise because I was not aware of the fact that I will be watching it on first day, till an hour ago.

Do I need to say more, the demi God as far as Tamil Cinema is concerned, has not dissapointed his fans. To be frank, there is hardly any story in the movie, but then thats not the reason we hit the theaters for a Rajni movie. Rajni know for his style and punch dialogs, knows how to be a true entertainer and make his movie a box office hit....

Story is very simple, Rajni a s/w engineer from US does social service. The obstacles he faces and how he finangles out of the situation.
First half of the movie is really slow, there is some good comedy, but the second half is a true treat to his fans.

Then, whats new in the movie???????

He himself is new, looks too young, looks brilliant and I mean it
His punch dialogs, his style( esp. the one he does using the coin) and yeah defying all laws patented till date. (Thats the reason y everybody goes to watch his movies to be frank)

There is one specific song, in which he uses his gun to do all sorts of style......
Mr.Bond looks like you need to still learn some gun tricks from our pal...

Speaking about shankar(director), although the theme of the movie is good the screen play in the first half is not great... and then has wasted huge amounts of money on the sets for the songs... even though they look good... i never feel its worth investing so much esp. when AR.Rahaman has not dont justice to a few songs....
yes Mr.Rahaman, for crying out loud u were composing for Rajni and not somebody else...
We expect all songs to rock... but then thanks to ur background music, I've got my next ringtone. A couple of songs are bad....... but then the intro song is good.....

Bottom line, We went to the theater for Rajni's style and well, no doubt he treated us......
Hats off Rajni, u just rule... definitely worth the watch.
